This is a recording made in the cape coast region of ghana, west africa. It was a large drumming and dance performance put on outside. I recorded this using a zoom h4n.

Old mechanical door bell, not in best condition. Rattles while the switch is closed (whether it's designed to do that i don't know) and clicks rather loudly on the low bell. Not much decay.

My door bell sound modified to sound as if it's coming from farther away as it would normally sound from a different room. Slightly biased towards the left channel, reverse the stereo channels for it to come from the right.

Some random notes. Recorded into cubase using a 4-string squier jazz bass and a behringer ultragain digital ada8200 converter. Cut in ocenaudio. During this recording at a small pond with frogs a dog comes closer and barks. The frogs in the pond start to warn each others. They are getting crazy for a short time, then they calm down again. The recording is slightly edited to prevent it from being too long. The recorder was placed under a picnic area roof, so the water is dripping from that. I think you can almost hear the storm passing from approximately right to left. Recorded using a (slightly wet) zoom h2 in 4 channel surround mode. All surface to air fireworks are illegal but, due to covid-19 cabin fever, people just didn't care this year. This recording is almost 99% voice free. There was a couple on a balcony that are barely heard muttering something in just a minute or two of this recording. For the most part, it's clean. I kept the peaks very low to maintain a natural sound. All of my sounds recordings are provided free of all charges.
